The West 18th Street Fashion Show is an independent platform for wearable art and design established in 2000. Founded to showcase regional creatives, the event has become an international event drawing a 2000 plus audience to a one way city block. An urban tradition with a history of inclusiveness and experimentation, live music, and a changing DIY backdrop, the West 18th Street Fashion Show has developed the landscape of an emerging downtown for nearly 20 years. The production quality and collaboration produces an opportunity for incredible images, an authentic experience and encourages generations of makers to bring their talent to a public space.
